About me
I'm a Brazilian student who moved to the U.S. in my sophomore year of high school. When I arrived, I barely spoke English, so I had to learn the language while keeping up with classes and adjusting to a new culture. One of the hardest parts was realizing how different Portuguese and English really are—not just in grammar, but in how people express themselves. It felt like learning to think in a whole new way. Still, pushing through that challenge made me more resilient, independent, and confident in who I am.
